Marxism, Islam and The Bee Crisis
The bee crisis strikes me as a very good analogy for the current crisis facing the West.
It’s been widely reported that bee populations are dying off. This is a source of serious concern in many quarters.
The reasons for the die-off are disputed. Many people blame a family of insecticides called neo-nicotinoids which are being used by farmers. The claim is that the bees are adversely affected.
Many defenders of Big Agribiz deny this and claim instead that the cause is actually a natural parasite that attacks bees.
It has been pointed out that the parasite in question has been around since time began, that it and the bees co-evolved. There has been no mass bee die-off until now, so why the sudden change?
As with most things in life, it’s a combination of factors. It seems likely that the neo-nicotinoids have not killed the bees, but have weakened them so that they can no longer adequately defend themselves against the pre-existing parasite. It also seems likely that, if permitted, vested interests will continue to deny this until it’s too late.
The bee crisis strikes me as a very good analogy for the current crisis facing the West.
It is a widely-held view that the West is currently under threat from the spread of Islam.
It should be noted that the West has coexisted with Islam for around 1400 years. The West defeated Islam at the battle of Tours, at the battle of Lepanto, repulsed two sieges of Vienna. After the defeat of the Ottoman empire in World War I, and the subsequent abolition of the Caliphate, it looked, by the mid-20th century, as though Islam was a spent force.
So why now?
We have been weakened by Marxism. By the woke mind virus. Islam by itself could not conquer the West, but the West has been weakened in the same way that the bees have, giving the encroaching parasite an advantage it never previously enjoyed.
In the same way, vested interests will continue to deny this until it’s too late.
In both cases, we have to hope that this unfair advantage is not decisive enough to result in the complete extinction of the populations.
Good analogy. I wonder which will extinguish us first... starvation or cultural marxism... or zionism come to think of it.
